Lakeland Fells updated 16 August 2013.

I need to check my Wainwright guidebooks to see if I have missed any unclimbed hills or if I have climbed some of those listed and forgot about them. Either way, I feel that the list above offers a good objective for my future explorations into the Lakeland Fells.

They amount to 24 days on the hills with a total of 194km and 11104m of ascent. I use the word "days" loosely as many are very short routes. They provide an additional challenge to my completion of the "Corbetts and Other Hills".

Many of these routes will be ideal for family walking which adds to their appeal at this point in my life. Now that I have moved to Sutherland, these hills are far away and I will probably head south to climb them once I have finished the Corbetts and Other Scottish Hills.

Google Map

Unlike the Corbett map on the home page, the markers show the start of the walk rather than each individual hill. I generally like to be more consistent but had forgotten how I had done things earlier and did not refer back. I may replace the map but I rather like it as it is.
