Ben Klibreck
22 March 2015
The weather was wet and windy when I arrived and I was in two minds as to whether to turn round and go back to Golspie. After sitting in the car drinking coffee, I finally decided to head off across the River Vagastie and up the track visible in the picture above (if you click on it to enlarge it). I set off in full winter kit but, as you can see, there was very little snow on the hill. I passed a couple of men as I neared the summit. They had set off from the Crask Inn. Wind and rain precluded the possibility of a decent summit photograph but the weather cleared on the way down enabling some nice photographs, especially towards Ben Hope and Ben Loyal. This is the second time I have been on top of Ben Klibreck in dreich weather.
